Marc,
Now that I'm back in the swing of things here, I wanted to take a moment to again thank you for your outstanding work in putting together our trip. As you know, or may have sensed, I was somewhat cautious with you because of the fact that I found you on the internet and therefore had to have some blind faith in your word and abilities. My blind faith proved to be a great thing. All of your recommendations in not only structuring the trip, but selecting the golf and accomodations options were spot on. We had a great experience staying and playing at Turnberry. But it was your recommendation to play Western Gailes which stands out. It is a great links course, with a fantastic feel to it. The classic clubhouse looked it had been preserved for 100 years or more. The train running along one side and the water along the other side of the out and back layout added to the experience. Western Gailes was an excellent recommendation and an experience we would have missed if you had not emphasized its virtues to us.
I know we had some logistical challenges for you with the second foursome coming in to St. Andrews the same day we were travelling there after our round on the west coast. The transportation for our 2 groups was handled with ease and we reunited on schedule at Dunvegan Hotel that early evening. Your selection of John as our driver and caretaker was perfect. John is a true pro, whose clear goal for the week was to make sure we had everything we needed, that we arrived to our tee time as scheduled, and that we didn't have to think about anything but enjoying ourselves. He succeeded on all fronts.
In St. Andrews, again your strong but not overbearing recommendation of Rusacks was absolutely correct. At one point I asked you if we should book the Old Course Hotel and you gently steered me away from that, citing the better golfing ambience at Rusacks. You were not only correct on the golfing ambience and energy at Rusacks, but the fact that it is stumbling distance from the Dunvegan was a big plus as well. With respect to the golf in St. Andrews, again your recommendation to play Kingsbarns was genius. It was probably the most spectacularly beautiful course we played.
Marc, bottom line is that you did a great job for us and we all greatly appreciate it. You build a reputation one person at a time in any profession. I can assure you that you now have 8 loyal clients who hope some day to come back to Scotland, or perhaps one of the other countries you service, and who will call you or recommend you to our friends and associates.
A job well done! Cheers.

Marc,
From the comments that some of the other guys have made you must know that we had a wonderful time. Gerry played a huge role in making things work. His humour and his history lessons were greatly appreciated and he is very easy to be with. The hotel and staff were wonderful. Very comfortable accommodation and great food but more importantly the entire staff were so very friendly. The good weather gave us the added benefit of enjoying the wonderful scenery while attempting to play those great links. It truly did not matter where the ball went.
All in all Marc you did a great job of planning a memorable trip for all of us. Thank you for that and I hope that before too long I will be in touch with you again.
Best wishes,
Hank. Ontario, Canada

Hello Marc,
Thank you for your role in organizing a wonderful "Irish" golf experience. This was my first visit to Ireland and the beauty of your country did not disappoint. The Killarney Royal Hotel and its staff were warm and welcoming. Ger animated our many bus trips with his knowledge of local geography, history and folklore coloured with a strong dose of Irish humor (and knowledge of favorite "locals").
The combination of you in Ireland and Hank in Ottawa put together an unforgetable program of golf and sightseeing. Thanks to you both for a successful trip. For my part I can take pride in the knowledge that I have forever altered the topography of Ireland by depositing my golf balls in the grasses of the south-west.

Marc, I will send you a more complete email when I get home so you can use it for references if you would like but I wanted to thank you now for just a great trip. Your attention to detail, your responsiveness to all my questions, your recommendations for accomodations and most importantly golf courses were perfect.
All the guys had a great time and I can tell you that you gained 8 new referral sources. John was a delight and also constantly vigilant to make sure all the golf, caddies and transfers were taken care of. He is a real pro and was a big asset on the trip.
Thanks again Marc!

Thank you Marc!
The trip, the hotels and the golf reservations all went extremely smoothly - the actual golf had some rough spots but we can't blame that on you. If asked, I will highly recommend Dunbar Golf Tours. We all enjoyed Ger; he was a great driver and tour guide.

Marc,
Many thanks from our entire group. The trip you set up was wonderful! From the time you met us at the Airport until we departed all the arrangements were great. Ger was a great driver and host; and could not have been better.
Hope we have the opportunity to use your services again in the near future.
Best regards,

Marc,
The arrangements were very well done. Everything went like clockwork. Having the GPS was an excellent idea and worth the money. Turnberry was very nice but in the end overpriced. Piersland House was perfect. Met a bunch of golfers there on a bus tour. Caddies were good except for the first day when Jim’s caddie was kind of pushy and not as good as mine. The other guys were pretty good and the caddies on the last day were great, funny and knowledgeable. They even took us to their local pub in Troon.
All in all, great trip and now those guys that didn’t go this time want to set up a trip back soon.
Thanks for everything Marc, you did a great job.
